Biography
Peter is a hard-working creative professional that loves to beautifully capture & photograph fine art still life, street & documentary photography, portraits & lifestyle. Peter enjoys taking photographs as a form of his emotional expression.
Peter was born in Truro, Nova Scotia Canada & migrated to Toronto, Ontario when he was just a child. Peter attended & graduated from Jarvis CI here he developed is love of analog photography, before jumping at an opportunity to work professionally in the unionized Film & Television Industry in Toronto (credited as Bruce Davis) & passing on studying film theory in university.
In 2005, Peter married Janet Martel, an Assistant Director whom he met in the Film & Television Industry in Toronto. In 2008, Peter & Janet moved to Eastern Ontario to continue to work in & contribute to the developing Film, Television & Brand Video Industry in Ottawa & Kingston, Ontario.
Peter has also worked as an Executive Director for an Arts Council, an Arts & Culture Business Advisor in Eastern Ontario & now is a professional award winning Creative Director & Photographer.
Peter has been commissioned to photograph award winning portraits, as well as content & images for magazines & books. Peter has also been commissioned to photographs weddings & lifestyle.
Peter lives in Eastern Ontario, in the country, outside of Ottawa, Ontario along the St Lawrence River with this wife, Janet, his dog Bailey & his cats, Chicken, Bubbles & Ludo.
